Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Pavio at pavio.ai (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). The Service is operated by ML BOOST ("Pavio," "we," "our," or "us"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, and your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of any changes.

Description of Service

This website (pavio.ai) is an informational service that lets you:

• Read educational content about cat health and feline chronic kidney disease (CKD)
• Join a waitlist, by providing your email address, for the upcoming Pavio Pets iPhone app

The Pavio Pets mobile app — an informational tool to organize and track a pet's health data (bloodwork, urine results, weight, hydration, appetite, subcutaneous fluids, and medications) — is in development. It will be offered under its own terms presented in-app at launch.

Important Veterinary Disclaimer

Pavio's content and the upcoming app are informational tools for organizing and tracking your pet's health data, for educational purposes only. This information:

• Is not a substitute for professional veterinary advice, diagnosis, or treatment
• Should not be used to make care decisions without consulting a qualified veterinarian
• May not be accurate, complete, or applicable to your specific pet
• Should be verified with your veterinarian

Waitlist and Email

This website does not require an account. If you join our waitlist, you agree that:

• You provide a valid email address that you are entitled to use
• We may email you about the launch of the Pavio Pets app and related pet-health content
• You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send
• You are at least 18 years old

Handling of your email is described in our Privacy Policy.

Future Paid Features

The upcoming Pavio Pets iPhone app is expected to offer a free tier (including a first lab-report analysis) and optional paid features. Any pricing, trial, billing, renewal, and cancellation terms will be presented to you in the app before you purchase and will be handled through the Apple App Store. No payment is taken through this website.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Submit an email address you are not entitled to use, or false or fraudulent information
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its data
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
• Use the Service to develop competing products
• Use automated systems to access or scrape the Service without permission
• Copy or republish our content in a way that infringes intellectual property rights

Your Data in the App

This website does not accept uploads or health data — it offers educational content and a waitlist only. When the Pavio Pets app launches, you will retain ownership of the pet-health data you choose to add, and any license you grant for storing, processing, or analyzing that data (and any consent for anonymized research use) will be governed by the app's own terms and privacy policy, presented to you in-app before you provide any data.

Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, content, and software, is owned by Pavio and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service without our written permission. The Pavio name, logo, and related marks are our trademarks.

Third-Party Services

The Service uses third-party providers for hosting, content delivery, email/waitlist management, and error reporting. Your use of these features may be subject to the providers' terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services that we do not control.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind
• We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim
• We are not liable for any health outcomes resulting from your use of the Service or reliance on its information

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Pavio, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any rights of another party.

Ending Use

We may restrict or discontinue the Service, or remove a waitlist entry, at any time — for example for violation of these Terms, fraudulent or abusive activity, or because we are changing or retiring the Service.

You can leave the waitlist at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email we send, or by contacting us. We handle your email data as described in our Privacy Policy.

Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of France, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rules of the country where you live. Disputes will be submitted to the competent courts of France, unless applicable consumer law gives you the right to bring proceedings in your country of residence. If you are an EU consumer, you may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform.

Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting a notice on the Service or sending you an email. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you must stop using the Service.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. The unenforceable provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable while preserving its intent.
